Gino is a passionate advocate for the people of Derby, having proudly run for mayor in 2023. With over 20 years of experience owning and operating a successful construction business, Gino brings a wealth of knowledge in business management, infrastructure development, and strategic planning. In addition to private-sector experience, Gino currently serves as the Chairman of the City of Derby’s Planning and Zoning Commission, helping guide the city’s long-term growth and land-use decisions. He is also a member of the Sterling Opera House Commission, supporting the restoration and revitalization of one of Derby’s most cherished historic landmarks.

A lifelong advocate for youth development and civic service, Gino is a proud Eagle Scout and a former volunteer with Derby Pop Warner, where he dedicated time to mentoring young athletes and promoting teamwork, discipline, and community spirit.
