Chris Darlington

Chris Darlington, an independent country music artist, hails from the Eastern Panhandle Region of West Virginia, where his musical roots run as deep as the Red Oaks of the Shenandoah Valley.

Influenced by legends like Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, and Chris Stapleton, Chris blends gritty vocals with smooth lyrics reminiscent of Carolina “shine." His musical journey began in childhood with a toy keyboard and a musically inclined father, Frank Darlington of Frankie and the Dynamics.

Venturing to Nashville, TN, Chris graced stages like The Second Fiddle and Tootsies, later writing and recording tracks produced by Ken Royster, known for Luke Combs' hit “Hurricane.”

In 2021, Chris made waves on Spotify with over 200,000 streams and 93,000 listeners across 124 countries. His singles, including "Like Tomorrow’s Gone," gained traction on editorial playlists and radio stations nationwide.

Balancing a career as a Deputy Sheriff with his musical pursuits, Chris released "Hold That Line" in 2021, inspired by his 18 years of law enforcement service. The track garnered attention from Police1 magazine and Law Enforcement Today, culminating in a performance at the National Peace Officer's Memorial ceremony in D.C.

His faith-driven single, "Let Him In," topped #1 on the Cross Country USA Hot 100 and earned a nomination for the 2023 Dove Awards. Chris continues to use his platform for good, raising awareness for causes like child trafficking through songs like "You Are Not For Sale," in collaboration with Craig Sawyer. The track and several others will be dropping 2024.

With media appearances on outlets like Newsmax, Fox 5, Real America's Voice, OAN, and performances at prestigious venues like Mar-A-Lago in 2024, Chris looks forward to the journey ahead.
