Venturing to Nashville, TN, Chris graced stages like The Second Fiddle and Tootsies, later writing and recording tracks produced by Ken Royster, known for Luke Combs' hit “Hurricane.”

Balancing a career as a Deputy Sheriff with his musical pursuits, Chris released "Hold That Line" in 2021, inspired by his 18 years of law enforcement service.
